Center for Industry-Academia Collaboration

To develop the university affairs in accordance with the system of School Funds, the University shall promote academic research and application and expand the capacity of industry-academia collaboration, for the purpose of self-financing part of the university expenditure. Proofed by the Ministry of Education, the University has set up the Center for Industry-Academic Collaboration in charge of the promotion and organization of the university extension service and extension education and of the relevant centers. The Center shall undertake the projects sponsored by the government agencies and promote collaboration with industry in the aspects of product innovations, technique updating, enterprise operation diagnosis and other extension services and education.

The Center has two divisions: Secretarial Affairs and Extension Education.

Secretarial Affairs Section
„X Promote the research activities and entrepreneurial management of associated research centers.
„X Strengthen the coordination between research centers and industry .
„X Integrate research centers across disciplines to promote cross-disciplinary research.
„X Promote other industry/government/collaboration cross-sector related activities.

Extension Education Section
Extension Education Section (EES) of National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology (NKFUST) is currently one of the two sections enlisted under the Office of Academic Industry Collaboration Headquarters. The main mission of the EES is to unite the school's resource to create a knowledge-based learning environment for any persons who are interested in continuing education. The members in EES are more than happy to help you.
